PartnerRe reported Monday higher quarterly profits, driven by a benign catastrophe experience in the third-quarter of 2009, beating analyst expectation.
The Bermudian reinsurer swung back into profit for the third quarter of 2009 after posting net income of $566.7m, compared to a loss of $151.7m for the same period last year.
