US congressman Tom Perriello and congresswoman Betsy Markey today introduced a stand alone bill to remove the limited antitrust exemption for health and medical professional liability insurers. Proposals to repeal the McCarran-Ferguson Act have been the subject of much debate in the midst of health care reform.
