Endurance's new CEO will be looking to continue the work done under eight years of Ken LeStrange's leadership but won't be afraid to make big changes if necessary.

David Cash took over as CEO of the Bermudian insurance and reinsurance firm on March 1. In addition, William Jewett, previously president and CEO of worldwide reinsurance, became president of Endurance.

"It is a great time for me to take on this new role, given where the company stands," Cash told Reactions in an exclusive interview the day he took over as CEO. "I start this job with the confidence that much of what I need to do now is to continue to build upon our successes to date.
