RSA DIFC appoints new SEO
RSA has appointed Chris Riley as senior executive officer (SEO) of its Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) operations after holding the position on an interim basis since May. He will replace Roland Zaatar who is leaving to pursue other interests, RSA told Reactions. Zaatar first took on the role of RSA's DIFC SEO in 2013. Riley was previously RSA’s marine hub leader, DIFC for more than six years. In the new role, he will report to Richard Turner, Europe & DIFC director, Global Risk Solutions, RSA. “Chris has worked in the MENA market for many years and his appointment will enable our DIFC operation to maintain a strong service to our brokers and clients,” said Turner of the appointment. RSA has also welcomed Adrian Burgess as construction & engineering underwriting leader in DIFC. Burgess will bring a wealth of international experience to his new role, the company said. RSA's DIFC operation is part of its Global Risk Solutions.The unit underwrites commercial insurance for RSA UK in addition to multinational customers.
